Welcome to Nurture Mindful Healing. By using our services, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should not use our services.
There are legal and ethical circumstances where confidentiality may need to be breached.
I have a duty of care to take appropriate action. In such cases, I may need to report my concerns to the relevant authorities to ensure safety and well-being. Please read further for full terms of service.
1. Services
Nurture Mindful Healing provides counselling and art therapy services to support mental well-being. These services are not a substitute for medical, psychiatric, or psychological treatment.
2. Confidentiality & Privacy
All sessions are confidential, and client information is handled in accordance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988. Exceptions to confidentiality include:
When I sense there may be risk of harm to yourself or others
When disclosure is required by law (e.g., court orders, child protection laws).
When you provide written consent to share information.
For more details, please refer to our Privacy Policy.At times, consultation with a supervisor is necessary to adhere to the highest professional standards. During these consultations, client session details and artwork may be shared. Confidentiality is maintained at all times, and client personal information is never disclosed.
3. Appointments & Cancellations
Sessions are by appointment only.
Cancellations require at least 24 hours’ notice. Late cancellations or missed appointments may incur a fee.
If you are running late, please notify us as soon as possible. Your session may be shortened to accommodate other clients.
4. Fees & Payment
Fees will be discussed before your first session and are subject to periodic review.
Payment is due at the time of the session via cash, bank transfer, or other approved methods.
Unpaid fees may result in suspension of future services.
5. Telehealth & Online Sessions
Online sessions are available via secure platforms.
Clients are responsible for ensuring a private, quiet space for their session.
Technical issues are the responsibility of the client unless the issue is on our end, in which case rescheduling will be offered.
6. Scope of Practice & Client Responsibility
Nurture Mindful Healing provides support within the scope of counselling and art therapy.
Clients are responsible for their own well-being and decisions outside of sessions.
If a higher level of care is required, referrals may be suggested to other professionals.
7. Code of Conduct
Respectful and appropriate behaviour is expected in all interactions.
Any form of harassment, abuse, or disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated and may result in termination of services.
8. Limitation of Liability
Nurture Mindful Healing is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of its services.
Services are provided with professional care, but outcomes are not guaranteed.
9. Changes to Terms
Nurture Mindful Healing may update these Terms and Conditions at any time. The latest version will be available on our website. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
